✨ SHINING THROUGH SERVICE: The Golden Years Club is one of CVHS’s incredible student-run service organizations, and it is making a big impact on our senior community. With 160 members, the club completed 18 events, volunteered more than 75 hours, and created festive Halloween goodie bags for residents at Bethany Village and Legends Senior Living, all in the first marking period.

These students lead with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to brighten the lives of others, while exemplifying our Portrait of an Eagle competencies like responsibility, empathy, communication, and confidence. ❤🦅

Earlier this year, Bernadette Assad and Emma Govedari represented Eagle View Middle School at the 2025 Caring Team for Grieving Students Summit, hosted by the Caring Place. 🎃 PUMPKIN SCIENCE: Last week, Hampden Elementary School's 4th graders explored the science behind pumpkins! Working in small groups with the help of parent volunteers, students investigated questions like: Do pumpkins float or sink? How big is their “equator”? How many seeds are inside?

After collecting and recording their data, each class compared results and discussed what they learned. This hands-on experiment is a favorite Hampden tradition, combining teamwork, curiosity, and lots of fun. 😎
