Cumberland Valley students delivered for this year’s production of Mamma Mia!. Cast members are working through challenging rehearsals while getting ready for opening night.

Atticus Piscioneri, a student in the production, plays Pepper. He said he joined the musical because it gave him a chance to spend time with friends while doing something he enjoys. “I joined because I get to hang out with my friends and I love being on stage,” Piscioneri said.

Piscioneri said one of the hardest parts of rehearsals was learning complicated dances. Despite the challenge, he said his favorite part of the show was performing for an audience.

To prepare for his role, Piscioneri said he focused on understanding his character and how he would react in different situations. He also said audiences loved songs like “Under Attack” and “Does Your Mother Know.”

Mamma Mia! was another great success for the Cumberland Valley Music Department and student performers.
