The Cumberland Valley field hockey season is off to a decent five games into the season with a record of 4-1-1.

The team has a lot of potential and big aspirations for the 2025 season.

“We want to be at the top of the Mid-Penn Conference and go further in Districts than we have in the past few years,” senior Cassidy Brewer said.

The Stevenson University commit talked about the team's performance to start the season. “I think that we have performed well to start the season. We have worked really hard, and so far our best performance has been against Lower Dauphin,” said Brewer.

The field hockey team has their eyes on some tough opponents this season.

“We are excited to play Mechanicsburg for the first time and then the rematch against Lower Dauphin at home [will be a big game],” Brewer said.

The team plays Mechanicsburg at home on September 10 and Lower Dauphin at home on September 23.
